TEXACO Meropa WM320 x 208 litres Meropa WM is a high performance industrial gear lubricant. It is formulated with high quality mineral base oils and an advanced sulphur-phosphorus Extreme Pressure additive system, designed to minimise wear in enclosed gears, and other equipment under heavy loads and shock loadings. Available in viscosity grades 100 through 680, Meropa WM is specifically designed to provide high-level micro-pitting protection and surpasses the load stage 10 in the FZG Micro Pitting test (FVA.54/I-IV) and is therefore classified as GFT-High. Typical applications include enclosed gear systems, chain drives, sprockets, plain and anti-friction bearings, slide guides, and flexible couplings • Meropa WM lubricants are particularly recommended for enclosed gear drives and speed reducers, ranging from fractional kilowatt gear motors to large, high power units on metal rolling mills, cement mills, and mine hoists • Meropa WM lubricants are suitable for the lubrication of industrial hypoid-type gears and are also recommended for use in transmission gear case and worm drive axles on automotive, construction and mining equipment and plastic extruders gearboxes • Meropa WM lubricants are suitable for bath, splash and circulation application • The lighter Meropa WM grades are recommended for mist systems used in a wide variety of fields such as steel, aluminium, chemical and paper lubrication, and machine tools and material handling equipment industries, where equipment such as Norgren and Alemite is employed • Another specific application of Meropa WM is marine gearing, such as main propulsion, centrifuges and deck machinery including winches, windlasses, cranes, turning gears, pumps, skip lines, elevators and rudder carriers • Meropa WM 320 is suitable for use in wind turbine applications.
