BUY Teroson Terostat MS 9399 White x 400ml (Box of 6) Highly viscous, sag-resistant, two-component adhesive based on silane-modified polymers, which cures independently of the atmospheric moisture to an elastic product. It is free from solvents, iscoyanates and silicones. It has good UV and weathering resistance and can be employed for bondings in indoor and outdoor uses. After having applied the adhesive, the parts must be joined within the processing time at 23°C. At this temperature, sufficient initial strength for handling is achieved after approx. 1.5 to 3 hours. An increase in temperature accelerates the reaction. Application Areas: Elastic bondings, for example in the caravan manufacture, in the railroad vehicle industry or in shipbuilding. A characteristic feature of elastic bondings is the adhesive's great ability to deform, i.e. only when the adhesive has fully deformed will the bonded part be deformed itself. Elastic bondings are suitable if, for instance, parts made of different materials, such as metal and GRP, are to be bonded. In order to take fulll advantage of elastic bonds that the product provides, care should be taken to sufficiently dimension the joint to be bonded (min. thickness of 1 mm). This can, for instance, be achieved by using spacers or by pressing the glue line to a defined thickness. The spacers should have a Shore-A hardness of about 60. Terostat MS 9399 is contained in a 2 x 200 ml cartridge set (components A and B) which also contains a static mixer. Skin formation time: 30 min. black, 20 min. white & grey.
