BUY Kluber Altemp Q NB50 x 30 kgs ALTEMP Q NB50 is a white/beige lubricating paste with a mineral base oil, barium complex soap and inorganic solid lubricants. The raw materials contain no lead, cadmium, nickel, sulphur or halogens. This lubricating paste is universally applicable for assembly purposes and is especially suitable for friction points subject to small and very small sliding movements under high static and dynamic loads. It also provides reliable protection against fretting corrosion. APPLICATION: ALTEMP Q NB50 is suitable for all friction points, e.g. press fits, bearing seats, bolts, spline shafts, threaded spindles, profile guides. It has also proven effective to lubricate chucks. The main criteria for chucks are high precision and uniform clamping force. If the clamping force is reduced the workpiece may fall out. ALTEMP Q NB50 improves the sliding properties of the chuck components, ensures optimum transmission of the clamping force. It is suitable for all types of chucks, e.g. scroll, cam and spiral chucks. In addition, ALTEMP Q NB50 is very resistant to water and other media, e.g. coolants and cutting fluids. It prevents stick slip and protects against tribo-corrosion, for example in power-locking connections. Application notes: Clean and degrease the surfaces thoroughly. Apply the paste in a thin coherent layer by brush or with a cloth that does not fray (do not rub in). ALTEMP Q NB50 Spray can be used to facilitate application. Service temperature range: approx – 15 to 150 °C
