It is based on an advanced blend of synthetic fluids and selected additives chosen for their ability to meet the stringent requirements of the food and beverage industry. Certifed by NSF for ISO 21469 and registered by NSF (Class H1) for use where there is potential for incidental food contact. Produced according to FLT Quality Standards, in facilities where HACCP audit and Good Manufacturing Practice have been implemented and form part of the quality and hygiene management systems ISO 9001 and ISO 21469. Applications • Drive and conveyor chains in the food industry • Also intended for use in equipment for manufacturing food packaging Seal and Paint Compatibility Compatible with the elastomers, gaskets, seals and paints normally used in food machinery lubrication systems. Handling and Storage All food grade lubricants should be stored separately from other lubricants, chemical substances and foodstuffs and out of direct sunlight or other heat sources. Store between 0°C and +40°C. Provided that the product has been stored under these conditions we recommend to use the product within 5 years from the date of manufacture. The lubricant is passed through dosing nozzles applying a high voltage (15-20 kV) so that the chain attracts the lubricant, which is applied in the area of the link that has O-rings. In this way they prevent the oil from escaping and the inner barrel of the chain link from drying out. XTE added value: Chains use to last around 10 to 12 months, with CASSIDA CHAIN OIL XTE both chains have lasted 15 months already and are expected to last around 2 years as they are in good shape yet. Each chain cost € 12.000 approx., and minimum two hours work to change them. CASSIDA CHAIN OIL XTE is also more suitable for the application method, as it gets a stronger electric charge, goes direct to the application point and therefore there are fewer lubricant losses and stains on cans.
