BUY HOUGHTON Macron EDM 130 x 209 litres. High viscosity spark erosion oil, for roughing. The product shows a good flushing performance in very small erosion slots. A surface roughness of 3 μm or lower is possible. In addition, Macron EDM 130 can be used for grinding cutting tools (cemented carbide), and as low viscous spindle oil e.g. for narrow fit spindles and as magnaflux inspection oil. Macron EDM 130 is used neat as supplied. Macron EDM 130 is based on paraffinic hydrocarbons. Its very low aromatic content improves working conditions. The product is colorless and has a very low odor. The high dielectric strength and good flushing properties contribute to a high stock removal capacity. Excellent chemical compatibility and a good filtration performance with usual filter media. Can be used with graphite and copper electrodes. Advantages: Chlorine free. Low aromatic components.
