BUY AMBERSIL Formula 20 Release Agent x 400ml (Box of 12) Printable release agent for Polymer moulding applications and foundry pattern release. Specialist mould release agent based on a unique, active material that has been formulated to provide improved release characteristics (compared to conventional non-silicone release agents) on a wide range of thermoplastic and thermoset materials, whilst still allowing post moulding operations to be carried out. APPLICATIONS Provides a light, ‘wax-like’, film for the release of plastic parts in injection moulding. It is particularly suited to automotive, rapid prototyping and consumer electronic moulding operations where post moulding processes usually occur. Will not build up in the mould and helps to improve surface finish, reduce rejects and increase production. It is highly suited for use as a wax pattern release agent in lost wax casting applications. It eliminates the need to wax wash patterns prior to ceramic shell coat process.
