AZTEC Rust Preventative Cleartect ST/WDX x 20 litres Product Code: RUS028 - Revision: 20190715 Product Description A short to medium-term solvent deposited rust preventative, with powerful dewatering properties. On evaporation of the solvent this rust preventative leaves a thin greasy protective film, which does not harden with age. Rapidly displaces water from components after machining using soluble cutting fluids or following cleaning processes. Benefits Applications • Low odour de-aromatised hydrocarbon solvent, increasing operator acceptance. • Powerful corrosion inhibitors protect from corrosion. • Effective against acid atmospheres. • Versatile and can be used for a range of applications. • Long bath life achievable. • Excellent dewatering properties. The thin residual film provides effective protection against corrosion in intermediate operational storage, before further machining or during transport. Also deal for the protection of parts for use in various systems, including hydraulics. Can be applied by brushing or spraying but its dewatering action is most effective if the articles to be protected can be immersed in a dip tank.
