BUY Q8 Erebus MP320 x 208 litres High quality multi-purpose gear and machine tool lubricant. Viscosity grade ISO 320. Formulated using additives to prevent oxidation, corrosion and foaming. Contains anti-wear/extreme pressure (EP) additives to minimise friction and wear. Q8 Erebus MP oils combine the characteristics of high specification gear oils together with those of hydraulic fluids and slideway lubricants. Recommended for all heavy duty industrial enclosed gear sets lubricated by splash or circulation. They have excellent load carrying properties with a performance level exceeding the requirements of major gear oil specifications including US Steel 224, DIN 51517 (CLP) and AGMA 250.04. Their special friction characteristics make them ideal also for worm reduction gears especially where worm wheel flaking has been observed when using a conventional or non-additive oil. A high viscosity index and wide range of operating temperatures is another feature of this range of oils. This means that from very cold starting conditions well below zero, right up to 100°C, all moving parts receive full lubrication and protection against wear. In appropriate circumstances suitable viscosity grades may also be employed as neat cutting fluids making them unique rationalization products.
